Create a Word Web Page Using Tables

    Open a blank page in Word.

    Immediately, 'Save As' a 'Web Page', assigning a 'File name'.

    Insert a table.

    Click on 'Table', then 'Insert', then 'Table'

    Insert a table that is 2 columns by 6 rows.

    Hi-lite the first row.

    Click on 'Format', then click on 'Borders and Shading'.

    Choose background color for the title row.

    1. Click on 'Shading'. 2. Choose a background color for the title row. 3. Select 'apply to cell'. 4. Click on 'OK'.

    Choose a font, font size, bold, center.

    Type in your 'titles'.

    Expand the next table row for your content. Do this by putting the cursor into the cell and hitting the 'Enter' key several times.
